My Pledge to you
I agree to carry out all work in a professional manner using the most appropriate materials and workmanship.
I will communicate with you at all stages and be available to answer any queries you might have.
In the unlikely event of any dispute I undertake to resolve such matters directly with you before the need to involve any third party.
Methods of pricing
Quotations are in writing/email and cover only the work & materials detailed in the quotation & are valid for 7 days, after that I reserve the right to amend if necessary to allow for price variances. Any extras requested additional to the quotation will be charged for at my normal materials and labour rates.
Estimates are given as a guide only as to the likely cost of the job and are charged out at my normal rate for materials and labour.
All other work is based on materials and labour rates.
Terms of Payment
Where credit has been approved, all payments are due in full 20 days following completion of the work.
All other jobs are strictly payment in full on completion of work and or issue of invoice.
i. No offset can be made in respect of the tendered invoice.
In certain circumstances a deposit and or progress payments may be required, if so these will be included in the quotation and payment will be as set out in the quotation or as above.
If the account is unpaid by due date, you agree to pay interest at a rate of 2% per calendar month until principal and interest has been paid in full.
In the event that it becomes necessary to pass the debt to a collection agent for recovery action, you acknowledge and agree that all collection costs, enforcement fees and solicitors costs incurred will be your responsibility. You also agree that this information may be passed to a third party for credit reporting purposes.
ii. All goods and materials remain the property of Handyman Botany until paid for in full and we reserve the right to register our financial interest on the Personal Property Securities Register until final settlement.
